Halloween Getting IMAX Release For One Week Only

Halloween Michael Myers, Kyle Richards Masked killer Michael Myers in "Halloween." Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

In a post on Twitter, IMAX announced that Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions’ sequel Halloween will get an IMAX release for one week only, starting this Friday.

The film is currently in theaters now. You can find 411’s review of it right here. It is directed by David Gordon Green from a script he wrote with Danny McBride. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney. John Carpenter will score the film and executive produce with Malek Akkad (Trancas), Jason Blum (Blumhouse), Green and McBride (Rough House Pictures), along with Zanne Devine and David Thwaites for Miramax, which is co-financing.
