Halloween Michael Myers Masked killer Michael Myers (Jim Courtney) in "Halloween." Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Halloween Kills has had its tests screenings, and reactions that have reportedly leaked out are very encouraging. DU-HD reports that the reactions were very positive, with their source revaling that there’s a flashback sequence which works very well with a host of other positive thoughts.

It’s important to note that these may well not be all of the reactions and there could be several negatives, but these are some of the thoughts that have been leaked via the site:

“1. The eerie blue lighting is back.

2. One major character returns. (Someone whose presence hasn’t been announced yet.)

3. Michael Myers is ultra violent and brutal.

4. The flashback scenes are incredibly well done.

5. The movie is like Halloween on acid. It’s balls to the wall crazy.

6. The movie has some great callbacks to past Halloween films but remains original.

7. The mask used for the Halloween 78 flashback scenes is going to have fans going bonkers.”

The site’s source added about the flashback, “The (1978) flashback sequence (it’s beefy, but never overstays its welcome – about seven-ten minues) genuinely impresses, adds to the original in a meaningful way while contextualizing its place in the H’18-Kills canon. It’s surprisingly emotional.”

The film releases on October 16th and is a follow-up to 2018’s Halloween. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Andi Matichak as Allyson, Judy Greer as Karen, Dylan Arnold as Cameron Elam, Victoria Paige Watkins as Christy, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle as Michael Myers.
