Harvey Weinstein To Be Charged For Sex Crime in New York City, Will Surrender Friday

Harvey Weinstein will be charged with a sex crime stemming from a case in New York City where he allegedly forced a women to perform oral sex on him. TMZ reports that Weinstein will be charged in relation to the 2004 incident, in which the alleged victim is Lucia Evans. Evans is one of dozens of women who have accused Weinstein of sexual assault and district attorneys have been reviewing several cases. This is the first for which Weinstein will be charges.

Weinstein will surrender on Friday between 7 AM and 9 AM ET at the Manhattan D.A.’s Office in New York City. The site reports that Weinstein will receive and post bail the same day.
