Harvey Weinstein is being sued over allegedly raping a woman after previously sexually harassing her, the latter of which was captured on video. TMZ reports that Melissa Thompson has filed a class acion lawsuit against the disgraced former Hollywood mogul over an assault she alleges he committed against her in September of 2011, when he met with her in his New York office to pitch her company’s new video platform for use by Weinstein and his company.

According to the suit, Weinstein began immediately harassing her and that, as her computer’s video camera was on for the pitch, there is video evidence of this. She says that at one point he began caressing her leg, then moved his hand under her dress and said, “It’s fun when you do this.” Thompson claims she ignored the move and tried to carry on with her pitch, afraid he would become angry and aggressive if she said no.

Thompson said she went to a follow-up meeting with Weinstein at the Tribeca Grand Hotel later in the day in the hopes of closing the video deal, but that once in his hotel room he forced himself upon her. She escaped to the bathroom, eventually coming out to see him naked below the waist. He tried to force her to perform oral sex on him according to the suit and when she refused, he pushed her onto the bed and raped her.

Two other women are part of the class action suit, which is filed against Weinstein, Miramax and several other companies for the alleged rape as well as other instances of sexual misconduct.
