HBO Releases New Trailer For His Dark Materials

His Dark Materials is getting closer to its debut on HBO, and a new trailer is online. You can check out the preview below for the series, which is based on Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy of novels and stars Dafne Keene, James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more. It is set to premiere on BBC One on November 3rd and on HBO on November 4th. It will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners’ streaming platforms.

The series follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust.
