Helena Bonham Carter In Talks To Star In The Crown

Entertainment Weekly reports that Helena Bonham Carter is in talks to play Princess Margaret in seasons three and four of Netflix’s The Crown, taking over from Vanessa Kirby. The new season is expected to follow Queen Elizabeth II from 1957 to 1965. She was previously in the running to play Elizabeth, but the role went to Olivia Colman instead (who is taking over from Claire Foy). The new season debuted on December 8.
