Hillary Clinton was the guest on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show, where she spoke about not only Kate McKinnon’s impression of her, but Alec Baldwin’s impression of President Donald Trump. She called Baldwin’s parody “amazing” and said his expressions and body language are “perfect.”

She said: “He keeps saying he’s not going to keep doing it, but I’m glad he is.

She also said that watching McKinnon as her on the post-election episode of SNL, playing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” was “really hard.” She previously mentioned in her book What Happened that she was fighting back tears at the time. However she also said that McKinnon was “a better me than I am” and “just an amazing person.”

In the same episode, Miley Cyrus and several of the Tonight Show‘s female writers (Caroline Eppright, Becky Kraus, Albertina Rizzo, Jo Firestone and Marina Cockenberg) took part in a special “Thank You” notes segment dedicated to Clinton.

One writer wrote: “Thank you, Hillary Clinton, for being the first female candidate to run in a presidential election from a major American party.

Miley eventually came out and tearfully gave her a handwritten note. Clinton replied: “As Miley would say, ‘We can’t stop, and we won’t stop.’
