Hockey Team Pays Tribute to Captain America With Special Uniforms For Marvel Night
The Utah Grizzlies paid tribute to Captain America with some pretty impressive special uniforms for Marvel Super Hero Night. The minor league hockey team showed off the jerseys just ahead of last night’s special theme night, less than a week before Captain Marvel opens this Friday. You can see the uniforms in the video below (courtesy of Uproxx).
The team is the ECHL affiliate for NHL’s Colorado Avalanche. I’m not saying that the uniforms helped the team pick up a 4 – 3 overtime win over the Maine Mariners, but I’m not saying they didn’t. I just hope ECHL officials made sure to test for super-soldier serum.
We’ll see Cap again (perhaps for the last time?) in the MCU when Avengers: Endgame opens on April 26th.
