Heimdall’s run in the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to an end with Avengers: Infinity War, but if they figure out how then Idris Elba would be up for more. Elba spoke with ABC Radio for a new interview and discussed his run as the all-seeing Asgardian in the Thor movies and Infinity War, saying he’d love to reprise the role again.

“Of course,” Elba enthusiastically said about a possible return. “Listen, Heimdall is essentially part of the god family. So you know, he essentially could be alive. I’m just saying! I’m just putting it out there. The Heimdall character goes way back into, you know, the Thor mythology, And I’m sure there will be an interesting way to bring that alive. Of course I would. Yes.”

ELba noted that he would be interested in playing the role either in a full film or in the Loki series coming to Disney+. First though, he has to play catch-up because he noted that he hasn’t yet seen Avengers: Endgame. He added, “I know, I know. I have no life,” with a laugh.
