Jake Gyllenhaal Goes On a Rescue Mission In Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant Trailer

Guy Ritchie is back with his latest film in the action-thriller The Covenant starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and the trailer is online. MGM released the full trailer for the upcoming action-thriller, and you can check it out below.

The film stars Gyllenhaal as John Kinley, a US Army Sergeant who is saved by an Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Dar Sailm) in an ambush. Kinley later learns that Ahmed and his family were not given safe passage to America as was promised to them, and goes on a mission into the war zone to retrieve them before the Taliban hunts them down first.

The film is directed by Ritchie (Snatch, Sherlock Holmes) from a script he co-wrote with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies. It also stars Antony Starr, Alexander Ludwig, and Bobby Schofield, with Emily Beecham and Jonny Lee Miller, and will release on April 21st in theaters.
