Filmmaker James Cameron recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of Alita: Battle Angel, and the Academy Award winning filmmaker addressed the titles for the upcoming Avatar sequels. The rumored titles were previously leaked last year by BBC News.

Speaking on the subject, Cameron stated, “I can neither confirm nor deny. All right, here’s what I’ll tell ya. Those titles are among titles that are in consideration. And no final decisions have been made yet.”

The possible titles included Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: The Seed Bearer, Avatar: The Tulkun Rider and Avatar: The Quest for Eywa.

Additionally, Edie Falco recently joined the cast for the production. The cast includes Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and more.

Also, Cameron added on the upcoming new Terminator film, “Well, Sarah’s back and Linda Hamilton’s back, so it’s the legit character that you remember, just years later. And she’s back to do battle. That’s all I can say about that.”

The films are set for release on December 18, 2020; December 2021; December 2024; and December 2025. Cameron is set to direct the films, which will see much of the cast from the first film return.
