In a post on Twitter on Friday, filmmaker James Gunn confirmed that production had wrapped on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. You can see the photo Gunn shared with himself brother Sean Gunn (Kraglin and motion capture performance actor for Rocket), Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis) below.

Gunn wrote in the caption, “And that’s a picture wrap on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. I love this amazing cast & crew & their beautiful talent & kind souls. I’m a lucky human to have them on the journey with me for nearly a decade.”

Additionally, Gunn indicated that Zoe Saldana (Gamora) was also at the wrap party, but the only picture of her there included the group with an unannounced actor for the cast. He tweeted, “And yes Zoe was with us but the only picture I have with her has an unannounced actor with us!”

The Guardians will make their next MCU appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder, which arrives in theaters on July 8. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, also written and directed by James Gunn, will arrive on Disney+ later this December.

The upcoming MCU sequel also stars Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Will Poulter, and Chukwudi Iwuji. It’s due out on May 5, 2023.
