James Gunn Confirms Weekly Release Schedule For Peacemaker
The John Cena-led DCEU series Peacemaker will be released on a weekly schedule, as confirmed by creator James Gunn. Gunn, who wrote and directed The Suicide Squad along with the upcoming spinoff series, responded to a fan question to confirm that the series will release 3 episodes on HBO Max for its previously-revealed January 13th premiere date followed by five weekly episodes after.
The series stars Cena as Peacemaker, the character he played in The Suicide Squad, and explores his origin as well as his next actions following the conclusion of the film.
