James Wolk Joins The Cast Of HBO’s Watchmen Series

Deadline reports that James Wolk (Tell Me A Story) has joined the cast of HBO’s upcoming TV adaptation of the seminal 1986 graphic novel from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. He will reportedly play a junior senator from Oklahoma in a major recurring role. The pilot was directed by Nicole Kassell, who will executive produce with writer Damon Lindelof, Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams and Joseph Iberti. The series stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers and Dylan Schombing. HBO produces with White Rabbit and Warner Bros. Television. The series debuts in 2019.
