Jamie Lee Curtis Wraps On Halloween Reboot
In a post on Instagram, Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that she has wrapped on the upcoming Halloween reboot. Curtis will reprise her role as Laurie Strode in the film. The film is expected to ignore every film in the series except for the original 1978 classic. It is directed by David Gordon Green from a script he wrote with Danny McBride. It also stars Judy Greer as Laurie’s daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as Laurie’s granddaughter. Both Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney will play the Shape. John Carpenter will score the film and executive produce with Malek Akkad (Trancas), Jason Blum (Blumhouse), Green and McBride (Rough House Pictures), along with Zanne Devine and David Thwaites for Miramax, which is co-financing. The film arrives on October 19, 2018.
