Jason Alexander Defends Game of Thrones Finale: ‘I Know Something About Disappointed Fans’

Jason Alexander understands the feeling of fans not being happy with the final episode of an iconic series, and has some support for Game of Thrones’ cast and crew. Alexander, who of course starred in Seinfeld, posted to Twitter to praise the series finale of the HBO series and comment on how he also dealt with some disappointed fans who were none too happy with the last episode of Seinfeld.

Seinfeld’s series finale aired all the way back in 1998 (yes, I now feel old) and was very polarizing among fans, many of whom weren’t happy with the show basically taking a “best of”-style clip approach to the episode or with the show mocking its audience through Seinfeld doing a stand-up routine to a group of prisoners at the end of the episode.

Dear #GOT company, I know a little something about finales and disappointed fans. My advice: live in joy that you are part of something that moves people so. You were all magnificent. My family and I loved it all. Thanks.
