Jeffrey Tambor appears to have changed his tune regarding whether he’ll walk away from Transparent over sexual harassment allegations. Tambor, who previously said that “I don’t see how I can return to Transparent,” has “no plans to quit” the Amazon series according to a statement his representative gave to the New York Times.

Tambor is facing an investigation from Amazon over multiple allegations from actresses who say he sexually harassed them. Trace Lysette, who plays Shea on the show claimed that Tambor made unwanted advances on her after his former assistant Van Barnes accused him of inappropriate behavior. Since Tambor’s statement, makeup artist Tamara Delbridgen claimed that Tambor forcibly kissed her the set of Never Again in 2001.

Tambor’s rep said, “What he said was that given the toxic atmosphere and the politicization on the set, it’s very hard for him to see how he can possibly return. But no final decision for next year has been made, either by Jeffrey or by Amazon.”

Creator and showrunner Jill Solloway told the Times, “I take what Van Barnes and Trace Lysette are saying very seriously.” She declined to discuss the matter otherwise due to Amazon’s ongoing investigation.
