JK Rowling Confirms Harry Potter Fan Theory About Hermione

A fan recently suggested on Twitter that author J.K. Rowling included a bit about how to pronounce Hermione Granger’s name in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in order to correct fans who had been saying it wrong. The passage features Viktor Krum being educated on how to properly say her name. Rowling herself then confirmed that was her intention. She wrote:
