Former Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada is set to host a Disney+ series looking at storytellers of all stripes. Marvel announced on Tuesday that Quesada, who is now the CCO of Marvel and served as its EiC from 2000 to 2011, will be the host of Marvel’s Storyboards on the upcoming Disney streaming service.

The unscripted series will run 12 episodes and feature Quesada looking at the “origin stories and creative drives of storytellers of all mediums, backgrounds, and experiences.” Among the guests will be Book of Mormon songwriter Robert Lopez, Teen Vogue executive editor Samhita Mukhopadhyay, Logan star Hugh Jackman, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, and high-altitude mountaineer Ed Viesturs. The episodes will be short-form, running 10 to 15 minutes, and will look at each person’s relationship with Marvel as well as a personal account of how they overcame a personal or professional hurdle.

Quesada told Wired of the series, “A comparison that everyone knows is Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. We go on locations, but instead of food or culture being the focus, the focus is a guest, the way they tell stories, and their story … The real thrill to me is to find out, ‘What’s your story?’ People tell their stories in all different ways. It’s not just writing, drawing, or filming. Athletes tell stories in how they perform. Dancers tell stories with their bodies.”
