Johannes Haukur Johannesson Joins The Cast of Bloodshot

The Wrap reports that Game of Thrones star Johannes Haukur Johannesson has joined the cast of the Valiant Comics’ superhero movie Bloodshot. The film also stars Vin Diesel, Michael Sheen, Eiza Gonzalez, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez and Sam Heughan. It will be directed by Dave Wilson with Neal Moritz producing and DMG Entertainment’s Dan Mintz executive producing. Production is expected to start in July, aiming for an R-rating.

Bloodshot was created by Kevin Van Hook, Don Perlin and Bob Layton in 1992. It follows a mortally wounded soldier who is brought back to life with nanotechnology and is hired to find people with superpowers called “harbingers.”
