John Carpenter Reveals New Tracks From Halloween Score

Sacred Bones Records has released a new song from the Halloween score by John Carpenter, called “Halloween Triumphant.” The film arrives on October 19. It is directed by David Gordon Green from a script he wrote with Danny McBride. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney. John Carpenter will score the film and executive produce with Malek Akkad (Trancas), Jason Blum (Blumhouse), Green and McBride (Rough House Pictures), along with Zanne Devine and David Thwaites for Miramax, which is co-financing.

Here’s a synopsis: In the film, Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role of Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
