John Wick: Chapter 4 Moved All The Way Back to 2022

Lionsgate has been shuffling release dates, and as we noted earlier today, they pushed Spiral: From the Book of Saw to May 21, 2021. The problem is that was the original release date for John Wick: Chapter 4. bloody Disgusting reports that the action sequel has also had its date changed and will now arrive on May 27, 2022.

The film’s director, Chad Stahelski, previously told Collider that the sequel may not make its release date due to Keanu Reeves filming The Matrix 4, and since that film is on hiatus, it makes sense that Wick will have to wait another year to kill a bunch of bad guys.
