Jordan Peele Confirms Candyman Trailer Arriving Thursday

It’s official: the trailer for the new Candyman film is set to arrive later this week. Jordan Peele announced on Twitter yesterday that the revival of the franchise, which Peele co-wrote and produced, will release the first trailer on Thursday as you can see below.

Nia DaCosta is directing the film, which Peele and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Cassie Kramer, Teyonah Parris, and (reportedly) Tony Todd. The film returns to the neighborhood where the legend began: the now-gentrified section of Chicago where the Cabrini-Green housing projects, the setting of the first film, once stood.
