Jurassic World: Dominion Delayed to June 2022 Amid Studio Scheduling Shifts

Another film has been bumped back amid the latest round of rapid-fire release date moves due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Jurassic World: Dominion. Universal Pictures has announced via the show’s official Twitter account that the third film in the revived portion of the franchise will arrive on June 10th, 2022. That’s a full-year move from the June 11th, 2021 release date.

The move comes amid a host of shifts over the last week including MGM bumping No Time to Die, Dune being pushed to October 2021, and a ton of moves from Warner Bros. including The Batman, The Matrix 4, Black Adam, and more.

Jurassic World: Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy Daniella Pineda, and Justice Smith along with original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Campbell Scott. The film will also star Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze. Emily Carmichael wrote the film alonside Trevorrow from a script story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
