Jurassic World: Dominion Restarts Production, New Set Photos Released

Per the official Instagram account, the upcoming sequel, Jurassic World: Dominion, has officially restarted the production, which was previously halted due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic. New behind-the-scenes photos were released showcasing the return to production, which you can see below.

Per the caption on the Instagram post, “Behind the scenes on the set of Jurassic World: Dominion with safety protocols at 100.”

Previously, it was reported that Universal Pictures was planning to restart production on the film in the UK, which would include performing thousands of COVID-19 tests during filming. The plan was to have cast and crew members get tested before they return to set and again multiple times during the restarted production. A private medical facility was also reportedly going to be commissioned to manage medical needs with on-site doctors and isolation booths, anti-viral fogs, and more.

The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow from a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, and Dichen Lachman. No synopsis has been released.
