Spider-Man: Far From Home

It appears as if Avengers: Endgame is not the final film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Three, as many expected it to be. While at a promotional event in China for Avengers: Endgame (per ScreenRant), Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will actually be the last film in the third phase.

“It’s the end of the third phase,” Feige said of the second Spider-Man film. “You’re the first one I’ve told that to.”

While the first Avengers closed out Phase One of the cinematic franchise, it is thus far the only of the team films to close out a Phase. Ant-Man was actually the final film of Phase Two, and not Avengers; Age of Ultron. No films have been officially announced for Phase Four, although Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are all-but-confirmed.

Spider-Man: Far From Home opens on July 5th.
