Kevin Smith’s collaboration with Chris Jericho is continuing, as he’s written a part for Jericho in his upcoming horror flick Moose Jaws. Smith, who directed Jericho in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and the upcoming horror anthology Killroy Was Here, appeared on this Jericho’s Saturday Night Special stream this past weekend and noted that he’s reworked a role in the film for the former AEW World Champion.

Smith told Jericho, “This week I had a Zoom meeting with some wonderful people and the ball moved. Nothing official to declare, but like, I can now — if we ever get outside again, I can see a future with a rubber moose in it. So you [Jericho] are in that movie. When it happens, you are a big part.”

He continued, “After we did Killroy together, the next draft of Moose Jaws I did, I was like, ‘I am totally rewriting this part for f**king Jericho, man. Because I was like, ‘He’s so antic, he could so pull this off’ and s**t. So you’ve got a killer part in Moose Jaws, my friend.”

Moose Jaws is the third part of Smith’s “True North” horror comedy trilogy that started with Tusk and continued with Yoga Hosers. Smith has described the film as “Jaws, but with a moose,” an animal that Jericho described as the “one of the most dangerous animals in the world … no joke. I come from Canada, I lived in Albert for ten years. If you go to Banff, which is where people go before they go skiing … sometimes mooses just walk down the f**king main street. And when the moose walks down main street, everyone goes inside.”
