Kevin Spacey Accused Of Racism On House of Cards Set

Way back in October, Kevin Spacey was accused of making sexual advances on a fourteen year old and later others came forward accusing him of similar behavior. He has since been ostracized by Hollywood, as he was removed from both House of Cards and Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World. Spacey’s problems got a little worse this week, as the Daily Mail reports that Spacey has now been accused of making racist comments during filming of the Netflix series.

The head of security company VIP Protective Service Earl Blue, who worked on the set, said that Spacey would refuse to acknowledge the black members of the team and made racist comments. He said Spacey was heard by some employees saying, “I don’t want n—–s watching my trailer.”

Blue said that “confidentiality” was the reason why he waited four years to say anything, but now that it’s at “the point where people are being harmed, enough is enough.” The company’s contract was not renewed even though they had no complaints. Knight Takes King, the company that hired them, said that they were “really pleased.” Blue claims he learned from a production manager that Spacey said during a conference call he “did not want n—–s on his set anymore.”

However, a source claimed that people broke into Spacey’s trailer and other places while VIP was on duty, so their contract was given to another company. Blue denied this and said he wasn’t told why they were fired. A former employee also claims that he has “no particular recollection” of Spacey’s alleged comments, but he thought Spacey was a “real a–hole” who would get “temperamental.”

Former producer Iain Paterson said that VIP’s performance was “unsatisfactory” but didn’t comment further. Blue said that after losing the Netflix job, his company has had issues finding work.
