Frank Underwood is headed to Broadway. CBS announced on Tuesday that Kevin Spacey will host the 2017 Tony Awards, which air live on the network on June 11th at 8 PM ET. This is Spacey’s first gig as host of the award show.

“I was their second choice for Usual Suspects, fourth choice for American Beauty and 15th choice to host this year’s Tony Awards,” Spacey joked in the announcement. “I think my career is definitely going in the right direction. Maybe I can get shortlisted to host the Oscars if everyone else turns it down.”

Spacey is a Tony winner himself, bringing home Best Actor in a Featured Role in 1991 for his performance in Lost in Yonkers. He has served as the artistic director of The Old Vic Theatre Company in London for over ten years.
