Detectives were surprised that they were able to get statements from some of the accused individuals. Before some of them acquired criminal defense lawyers, their entertainment lawyers wrote statements denying the claims that were signed by their clients. One source said, “These [entertainment] lawyers cared more about image than jail. They should have never let their clients talk.”

Most of the cases involve one on one situations and lack witnesses, making them hard to prosecute.
