Lou Ferrigno Jr. is the latest star to be attached to DC Universe’s Stargirl. Ferrigno will play the role of Hourman, the member of the Golden Age Justice Society of America, per TV Line. Ferrigno is the son of Lou Ferrigno, the actor who portrayed the Hulk in the 1970s TV series.

The site describes Hourman as “a master chemist and adrenaline junkie who as Hourman is a thrill-seeking superhero with the ability to manifest super-strength… for one hour a day.”

Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (School of Rock and All Night‘s Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama will reimagine Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series.
