Star Wars fans are always looking for new leaks of material for upcoming films, but Mark Hamill is throwing a bit of cold water on the latest one. After a professional-looking image for the as-yet-unnamed Star Wars: Episode IX made its way around the internet, someone asked Luke Skywalker himself about the poster and Hamill chimed in.

Hamill replied that he was “doubtful” that it was real and said it could likely be attributed to a “UPF,” aka Ultra-Passionate Fan. The poster had gained a bit of credibility among some because it had been taken down off of Twitter, a move which always leads people to believe that Disney is protecting spoilers (but could easily just be protecting copyrighted material). In this case, Disney could have been concerned that one or two of the elements came from a recent alleged costume design leak. That’s speculation though, as Disney (as per usual) has made no comment on the poster.
