If you were wondering where Lady Sif has been in the MCU, you may finally get your answer. Discussing Film reports that Marvel Studios is developing a TV series about Lady Sif for Disney+, with Jaimie Alexander set to reprise her role from the Thor and Thor: The Dark World. Sif has been absent for Phase 3 of the MCU, not appearing in Thor: Ragnarok or Avengers: Infinity War. Kevin Feige will produce the series. It’s unknown when the film will take place or if it will even be set on Asgard.

This is one of several MCU shows coming to the Disney streaming services along with Vision and the Scarlet Witch, Rocket and Groot, Falcon and the Winter Solider, Loki and Nick Fury. Jac Schaeffer will be the showrunner for Vision, which is expected to go into production next year along with Loki. Malcolm Spellman will develop Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

All of the Marvel shows for Disney+ will have a $100 million budget for 6-8 episodes each. This is similar to what Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian is also getting. That show will debut in the fall when the service launches.
