Marvel’s Runaways to Feature Cloak & Dagger Crossover in Season Three

Ever since fans learned that Cloak & Dagger was joining the MCU lineup of TV shows, they’ve been hoping for a Runaways crossover. And now they have it. Marvel released a new video with the Runaways cast — Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta — teaming up with stars Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph of the Freeform series to announce that the shows will crossover in the third season.

The crossover has been heavy on fans’ lists, as the two properties have crossed over in the comic books in two of the more memorable early arcs of the series. One of those arcs already passed in the show, when Cloak and Dagger team up with the LAPD to find the Runaways but end up learning the truth and letting them go. Their minds were wiped of the situation, but they did cross paths in Volume 2 as well.

Season three of Runaways releases on Hulu on December 13th and finds the free kids — Alex, Nico, and Molly — searching for the captured Chase, Gert and Karolina. They also have to deal with an force who has targeted Leslie’s unborn child and eventually run afoul of Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley).
