Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch Sign New Deals For The Big Bang Theory

Variety reports that The Big Bang Theory stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have signed new deals with Warner Bros. Television to stay with Chuck Lorre’s The Big Bang Theory for what’s believed to be its final two seasons. They will reportedly earn $500,000 per episode for 48 episodes. It’s believed to include a separate development component for both.

Big Bang Theory was renewed in March for two more seasons after securing deals for Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg. The five of them will earn $900,000 per episode, taking a $100,000 pay cut from the $1 million they had been earning. They voluntarily took the pay cut so Bialik and Rauch could get raises. They wanted pay parity, but $500,000 was a big increase from the $175,000-$200,000 they had been earning.

Bialik (Amy Farrah Fowler) and Rauch (Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz) previously debuted on the show in its third season and were added to the main cast in season four. First-run episodes won’t make a lot of money for WB or CBS because of cast salaries and production costs.
