Michael Bay Producing a Live-Action Dora the Explorer Movie

Dora the Explorer better get herself some serious hardware, because she’s about to star in a Michael Bay-produced film. THR reports that a live-action, feature-length film based on the Nickelodeon series in the works at Paramount Players. The film will follow a teenage version of Dora as she moves to New York City to live with her cousin Diego.

Dora started out as eight years old in the original 2000 series Dora The Explorer, then was aged to ten for the 2014 series Dora and Friends: Into the City. Diego stared in his own spinoff series Go, Diego, Go!.

Nick Stoller will write the script for the film, whithj Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller producing through their Platinum Bay production company.
