Michael Cuesta Adds Daredevil: Born Again To His List Of Pilots Directed

Michael Cuesta has directed his fair share of pilot episodes for major series, including Dexter and Homeland — and now he’s adding the pilot for the MCU’s Daredevil: Born Again to his list of directorial credits (per The Hollywood Reporter). The Disney+ series will showcase Charlie Cox in the red mask once again and serve as the first continuation of MCU properties that got their start on Netflix onto Disney’s streaming platform. Other returning cast members include Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher.

Cuesta is a leading industry name for pilot directors — a job that sets the initial tone for a series that will continue under other directors for ensuing episodes. He’s performed similar duties for other shows, including Blue Bloods and Elementary. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere in Spring 2024.
