Netflix Dates 42 Original Movies Through 2021: Red Notice, Army of Thieves, More

Netflix has announced a huge slate of original film releases to take them through the end of 2021 including Red Notice, Army of Thieves, and many more. The service a list of 42 films set to release in the remainder of 2021 that include the Rock-Gal Gadot-Ryan Reynolds action film Red Notice, the Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence film Don’t Look Up, and others.

September

* September 2: Afterlife Of the Party
A social butterfly (Victoria Justice) experiences the biggest party foul of all—dying. But she’s given a second chance to right her wrongs on Earth by proving she’s worthy enough to get into the big VIP room in the sky.
* September 3: Worth
An attorney (Michael Keaton) learns a lesson in empathy when he’s faced with the near-impossible task of determining how to compensate families who suffered incalculable losses as a result of the September 11th attacks. Based on true events
* September 9: Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali
This documentary produced by Kenya Barris tells the extraordinary story behind the friendship of two of the most iconic figures of the 20th century.
* September 10: Kate (limited day and date theatrical release)
After she’s poisoned, a ruthless criminal operative (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.

When a boy obsessed with scary stories is imprisoned by an evil young witch (Krysten Ritter) in her New York City apartment, he meets a girl who’s also trapped there and learns he must tell a new scary story every night in order to stay alive.

A fashion assistant (María Valverde) has just about got her life together after a devastating breakup when the man who broke her heart returns. Seeking support from her best friends, all three will learn how complicated love can be.

An immigrant (Cristina Rodlo) in search of the American dream is forced to take a room in a boarding house, where she finds herself in a nightmare she can’t escape.

October

* October 1: The Guilty (September 24th theatrical)

November

* November 3: The Harder They Fall (October 22nd theatrical)
In this Western directed by Jeymes Samuel, outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy, Rufus Buck (Idris Elba), is being released from prison, so he reunites his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge.
* November 5: Love Hard
An unlucky-in-love LA girl (Nina Dobrev) falls for a rugged East Coast guy (Darren Barnet) on a dating app and decides to surprise him for the holidays—only to discover that she’s been catfished by his childhood friend (Jimmy O. Yang).
* November 5: A Cop Movie
An experiment in documentary and narrative storytelling sheds light on one of Mexico and the world’s most controversial institutions, the police force and the causes of the impunity crisis plaguing the justice system.
* November 10: Passing (October 27th theatrical)
Based on the novel by Nella Larsen, the movie follows two black women (Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga) who can pass as white and choose to live on opposite sides of the color line in 1929 New York.
* November 12: Red Notice
An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the top FBI profiler (Dwayne Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen.
* November 19: tick, tick…BOOM! (November 12 theatrical)

* November 29: 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible
This documentary follows climber Nims Purja as he leads a team of Sherpas to climb all 14 of the world’s 8000m+ peaks in 7 months, shattering the previous record of 7 years.
