Netflix Debuts Trailer For Outlaw King

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming historical drama Outlaw King, which stars Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce. It was directed by David Mackenzie and also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Florence Pugh and Stephen Dillane. It will be produced by Mackenzie and Gillian Berrie through Sigma Films, and Richard Brown and Steve Golin of Anonymous Content. The film arrives on November 9.

Here’s a synopsis: The untold, true story of Robert the Bruce who transforms from defeated nobleman to outlaw hero during the oppressive occupation of medieval Scotland by Edward I of England. Despite grave consequences, Robert seizes the Scottish crown and rallies an impassioned group of men to fight back against the mighty army of the tyrannical King and his volatile son, the Prince of Wales.
