TVLine reports that Netflix has ordered a second season of Wet Hot American Summer, this time set in 1991, ten years after the original film. Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later will include eight half-hour episodes and debuts in 2017. Executive producers David Wain and Michael Showalter, who wrote First Day of Camp, will be back to write all eight episodes. Casting will be announced in the coming weeks.

Wain previously said he would “love to keep going” and “camp is a very fertile area for so many. For us, I don’t think we’ll ever run out of stories to tell about these characters.”
