Netflix Releases Trailer For Reality Competition Show Ultimate Beastmaster

Netflix has released a trailer for the reality competition series Ultimate Beastmaster. It’s a global competition series produced by Sylvester Stallone and Dave Broome. All ten episodes will debut on February 24, 2017 at 12:01am PST.

Here’s a synopsis: From six regions across the world, Netflix brings together the athletic elite in a competition series that will exhaust their physical and mental stamina and push them to their breaking points. With global bragging rights at stake, these contestants must leave it all on the course in order to prove victorious. Ultimate Beastmaster is the first international competition series of its kind with six customized local versions featuring local languages, competitors and hosts from each competing country.

The countries include Brazil, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and the US. It will feature 108 competitors, eighteen from each country. Each hour-long episode will feature 12 competitors, two from each country, as they take on “The Beast” obstacle course. A “Beastmaster” will be crowned at the end of each episode, with the final episode of the season featuring the nine winners competing against each other. The hosts for each country include Terry Crews and Charissa Thompson (US); Anderson Silva and Rafinha Bastos (Brazil); Seo Kyung Suk and Park Kyeong Rim (South Korea); Ines Sainz and Luis Ernesto Franco (Mexico); Hans Sarpei and Luke Mockridge (Germany); and Sayaka Akimoto and Yuji Kondo (Japan).
