Lucifer will live on to sin another day. Netflix is picking up the cancelled drama for a fourth season, according to TV Line. Reps for Fox and Warner Bros. TV, the latter of whom produces the series, have declined to comment but the site reports the season will be ten episodes long.

Lucifer was a surprise cancellation by Fox last month. The show was not a great performer in the ratings but had delivered consistent numbers and paired up well with its fellow Monday Fox series The Gifted, which had been renewed. Following its cancellation, a fan uproar commenced calling for other networks or services to save the show.

The genre series is the first show that Netflix has saved since it picked up Longmire in November of 2014 when AMC cancelled it after three seasons. Longmire went on to have three more seasons on the streaming service.
