Netflix Sets Premiere Date For Disenchantment

Deadline has revealed several new photos for Netflix’s new series Disenchantment, which officially debuts on August 17. The new series, which will launch with ten episodes, comes from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening.

The series follows “hard-drinking princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, as well as her person demon Luci” as they take on ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses and “lots of human fools.” The voice cast includes Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon, Eric Andre, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery. The animation is being done by Rough Draft Studios with production from The ULULU Company. Groening and Josh Weinstein will executive produce.
