Netflix Unveils Trailer For The Witcher, December Release Date Set

Netflix has released a new trailer for its series adaptation of The Witcher, announcing a release date at the same time. You can see the trailer below for the series, which will premiere all eight episodes on December 20th. The series stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Jodhi May, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read, and Emma Appleton.

Based on the fantasy novel series, The Witcher follows Geralt of Rivia (Cavill), a solitary monster hunter who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
