New Ant-Man and the Wasp Set Photos Show Evangeline Lilly In Costume

New photos have arrived from the Atlanta set of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp, showing Evangeline Lilly in her costume as The Wasp. They also show Walton Goggins as the corporate villain Sonny Burch.

Meanwhile, Coming Soon reports that Adam McKay is no longer credited as a writer on the sequel, although he helped the the script for the first film. The script for Ant-Man and the Wasp is credited to Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari and star Paul Rudd. McKay previously confirmed his involvement last year, and originally got a story credit with Rudd. He’s currently working on a Dick Cheney biopic with Christian Bale.

The film is directed by Peyton Reed. It also stars Michael Douglas, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Michelle Pfeiffer Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen and Randall Park. Kevin Feige produces with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard, Charles Newirth and Stan Lee executive producing. The film arrives on July 6, 2018.

In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
