The final trailer for Marvel’s Eternals is here, and it’s revealed more of the story as well as some big action sequences. Marvel Studios unveiled the trailer on early Thursday morning, and you can check it out below.

The new trailer sees Ajak (Selma Hayek) explain to Ikarus (Richard Madden) how the return of mankind after Avengers: Endgame empowered “the emergence” — which appears to be the return of the monstrous Deviants, the evil counterparts of the Eternals. When Icarus asks how long they have, Ajak says “Seven days.”

We then learn that the Eternals came to Earth seven millenia ago to protect humans from the Deviants, but were ordered not to interfere in any other situation — by the Celestials. We even get a shot of a Celestial in the trailer, which appears to be Arishem the Judge — the Celestial that, in the comics, decides which planets survive or not. Considering that he could give Earth the thumbs down if the Eternals violate his rules, that’s probably a pretty solid reason.

The trailer also shows footage of the other Eternals including the warrior Thena (Angelina Jolie), the powerful Gilgamesh (Don Lee), the young (looking) illusionist Sprite (Lia McHugh), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), tech master Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), and Sersi (Gemma Chan). Through Sersi we also get our first look at Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman, better known as the Black Knight. And finally, we see Kro, a powerful Deviant and thus one of the antagonists.

Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao (Nomadland) and is set for release on November 5th. It is described as follows:

Marvel Studios’ Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.
