New Leaked Promo Art From The Batman Reveal Character Design Similar To The Zodiac Killer

New promo art from The Batman has leaked online and shows the design for the Riddler, which seems to be inspired by The Zodiac Killer. The Zodiac, a serial killer who operated between the late 60s and early 70s, was never apprehended. Those who managed to survive the Zodiac’s attacks gave a description to police of a man who wore an executioner’s style hood with clip-on glasses. You can see photos of it, along with the reactions of people on Twitter, below. The Riddler will be played by Paul Dano in the film.

The Batman was directed by Matt Reeves from a script he wrote with Peter Craig. The film also stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin. It will be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
