New The Suicide Squad Trailer Features Story Details, More Action

The Suicide Squad has been unleashed in a new trailer that drops some new details about the team’s mission and more. You can see the preview for the James Gunn-directed sequel below, which puts a spotlight on Idris Elba’s Bloodsport while also showing off several other characters.

The film stars Elba, Daniela Melchior, David Dastmalchian, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Taika Waititi, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Alice Braga, Jai Courtney, John Cena, Viola Davis, Pete Davidson, Sean Gunn, Freddie Stroma, Mikaela Hoover, Jennifer Holland, Flula Borg, Steve Agee, Joaquín Cosio, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Mayling Ng, and Tinashe Kajese. Written and directed by Gunn, the DCEU film releases on August 6th day-and-date in theaters and on HBO Max. It’s described as follows:
