Nico Tortorella Joins The Walking Dead Spinoff Series

The cast for the new Walking Dead spinoff is expanding quickly, with Scream 4 and The Following star Nico Tortorella signing on. Deadline reports that the actor has joined the cast in the lead role of Felix. Felix is described as an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.

Tortorella joins a cast that includes Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Annet Mahendru and Aliya Royale. Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island) will direct the pilot episode.

The series feature two young female protagonists and centers on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse. Some will become heroes, some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.
