Noah Centineo Says Masters of the Universe Directors Are ‘Genius’

Noah Centineo is our new He-Man, and he recently opened up about preparing for the role in the new Masters of the Universe film. Centineo (The Fosters) spoke with MTV News (per SHH) and praised directors Adam and Aaron Nee’s take on the material.
“It’s a really big responsibility,” Centineo said about taking on the role played by Dolph Lundgren in 1987’s live-action adaptation. “It’s a new universe and it’s a new studio and their take on a universe. The Nee brothers, Adam and Aaron Nee, they’re directing it, and they’re the filmmakers in charge of the story, and they are doing one hell of a job developing the world and all these things. I can’t tell you what tone they’re going for, but they’re genius.”
He added that he’s been practicing He-Man’s “By the Power of Greyskull, I have the power!” line, noting, “I’ve been screaming it until my voice is vocally fried, man.”
The film is set to begin filming in July in Prague from a scrupt by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man). It is currently set to release on March 5, 2021.
